Office furniture has been donated to schools, businesses and organisations across the Vale of Glamorgan.
CCR Energy, a part of the Cardiff Capital Region, is carrying out refurbishment work at its offices on the site of the former Aberthaw power station.
The company says it's handed over 42 pieces of surplus furniture to give them a second life in settings where they are needed most.
Among those to benefit was St Athan Community Council, who were donated a boardroom table for their chamber.
Cllr Derek Wilmot said: "It has enabled us to recycle, via St Athan's clothes bank, a number of older small tables.”
CCR Energy says each beneficary in the county was carefully selected based on their need and the positive impact the used furniture could bring to their working and learning environment.
One local school was given a dishwasher and a 20l water boiler for its special needs base, while teachers at another school said they were grateful to receive donated desks and chairs for a new room that would have otherwise been left empty due to funding constraints.

Other items were donated to indpendent enterprises who often face tight budgets when it comes to furnishing their spaces.
Rob O'Dwyer, head of project delivery at CCR Energy, said: "We are delighted to have donated our excess furniture to those who need it, including schools, community councils, local businesses and other organisations."
"Repurposing this furniture demonstrates our deep-rooted commitment to social value and community benefit, and we are glad that we can provide this for our local community and make a real difference."
Three years ago, the Cardiff Capital Region, a group of ten Welsh councils - including the Vale of Glamorgan - brought the site of the former coal-fired power station at Aberthaw for around £8 million.
There are plans to transform the site into a green energy hub with demolition work already past its first stage, despite controversy surrounding a £5.25 million settlement over how a contract was awarded.
