South Wales Police have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing, after reports of a young person in the river near Dinas Powys Woods.
Police were called to the area at around 5:31 pm on April 1st 2026, after receiving reports of a young person in the river.
Officers attended the scene, along with National Police Air Service, Paramedics and South Wales Fire and Rescue.
A teenager was taken to the hospital.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances leading to this incident.
