Local businesses, community groups and council workers have once again come together to support the annual Santa's Cause campaign.
Hundreds of presents are now being delivered to the homes of children and young people in the Vale who might otherwise go without on Christmas Day.
Over 40 local organisations and comapnies raised funds to provide special gift bags, which will go to families who are facing financial difficulties.
This year's appeal saw Vale of Glamorgan Council partner with Motion Control Dance, an award-winning Barry charity, which enabled access to additional funding for presents.

Council leader Lis Burnett said: "Santa's Cause is one of the most special things we do as a council, and once again it has shown the very best of our community."
"Thanks to the generosity of local people, organisations and businesses, every child identified by our social services teams will have a gift to open on Christmas morning."
"That kindness will make a huge difference to families at what can be a very stressful time of year. I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered their time, or helped spread the word."

Among the local community groups who donated to the appeal this year were The Barry Partnership Plan, Barry Uniting Church, The Bridge Between Community Centre, Cowbridge United Free Church, Rhoose Lifeguards and the organisers of Glastonbarry.
