A new musical collaboration has been released, bringing together dementia groups from Barry and Billericay to celebrate Dementia Action Week.
Come with Me is being released on 18th May 2026, the start of Dementia Action Week.
Written by songwriters Mark W Collard and Carl Simmonds, the track features the voices of members from Dementia Friendly Barry and Billericay Dementia Friendly Community.
Organisers hope the track will spread joy, spark connection and raise awareness for what it means to live with dementia.
The warm, uplifting sing-along anthem, filled with community voices, brings generations together to shine a light on the power of music in dementia care and therapy.
Mark and Paul Collard of Dementia Friendly Barry said, "Music has a remarkable ability to unlock memories and bring people together. Connecting with the Billericay community has been both a privilege and an honour, and we are grateful to share this special opportunity with them. This song is a heartfelt celebration of connection — a chance to honour the bonds that unite us and to express just how deeply we care."
