A Barry man who ran a drug line has been jailed for more than three and a half years.
Police found a cocaine haul and a zombie knife at the home of Tommy-Lee Carson last February.
The 28 year-old from Holton Road pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply, along with possessing an offensive weapon in a private place.
Cardiff Crown Court heard organised crime officers in the Welsh capital identified Carson when they identified a drug line linked to his mobile phone number.
Text messages were linked to Carson that had advertised Class A and Class B drugs for sale.
On 12th February, police raided his home address and seized both the zombie knife and a drugs haul with an estimated street value of between £3,640 and £7,280.
On 16th May, Carson was sentenced to 45 months in jail for being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
He was also given a six-month sentence for possessing the zombie knife, 12 months for being concerned in the supply of cannabis and a further 12 months for possessing cannabis resin with intent to supply. All of the sentences will be served concurrently.
Following sentencing, DC Gaby Pughsley of South Wales Police, who led the investigation, said: “Carson’s drug dealing will undoubtedly have impacted the local community and I’m pleased to see this significant sentence.”
“There is zero tolerance for drug supply on our streets and our organised crime team are committed to identifying and apprehending those involved.”
