A Barry man who sexually abused two young girls has been jailed for eight years.
Sean Newington pleaded guilty to seven charges, including sexual activity with a child and sexual assault.
The 39-year-old will also serve a further six years on licence upon his release.
Following sentencing, Detective Constable Rhiannon Phillips from South Wales Police said: "I want to commend the victims for their courage in coming forward- thanks to their reports and support justice has been served."
"It has been a traumatic time for everyone involved and I am hopeful the outcome at court brings the victims and families some comfort which they deserve."
Newington was also given an indefinite restraining order against his victims and must sign the sex offenders register for life.
