Barry Town United will take part in a Long Walk Home ahead of their next home game against Connah's Quay on 27th September, in aid of Llamau.
The walk follows the announcement of a new partnership with the charity, which works across Wales to support young people and women experiencing homelessness.
Under the banner "Football for Change", Barry Town United and Llamau are set to deliver a series of high-impact community campaigns throughout the 2025-26 season.
The support for the charity will begin with a Long Walk Home following the first team's JD Cymru Premier Game against Connah's Quay on 27th September. The circular walk will incorporate Jenner Park and the Barry coastline, starting at the ground, heading towards Barry Island, following the Coast Path around the Island, before returning to Jenner Park via the Town.
Llamau knows that ending homelessness is not as simple as putting a roof over someone’s head. It's preventative services help the young people and women we support to build the confidence and skills required to break the cycle of homelessness and move forward into independent lives.
