A domestic abuse charity says demand is still growing for their support services in the Vale of Glamorgan.
More than 50 people held an annual candlelit vigil outside the Civic Offices in Barry on Friday night ahead of White Ribbon Day.
Organisers said the event brought together survivors along with key community leaders and local residents in a united stand against male violence.
Last year, Vale Domestic Abuse Services (Vale DAS) supported over 1,500 women who were experiencing abuse, harrassment and coercive control.

Chief executive Vicky Friis said: "Tonight, we stood together not only to remember those who have been lost to male violence, but also to send a clear message that our community refuses to look away."
"Every candle lit represents a commitment; to believe survivors, to challenge inequality, and to play our part in ending violence against women."
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, from survivors to community leaders. Solidarity like this shows women they are not alone, and that change is possible when we stand together."
The vigil was also held to support the White Ribbon Campaign, which calls on men and boys to challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours in an effort to make communities safer.
Vale DAS said the role of allies remains crucial "at a time when domestic abuse, stalking and harrassment are impacting more families than ever".

Among those in attendance were representatives from South Wales Police and the Vale Community Safety Partnership, along with the Vale of Glamorgan Council leader Lis Burnett, Senedd members and local councillors, including Mayor of the Vale, Cllr Naomi Marshallsea.
Vale of Glamorgan MS Jane Hutt said: "It was great to see so many people come out to support the vigil and show their support for ending violence against women."
"We must all continue to speak up and I would like to thank our colleagues at Vale Domestic Abuse Services for the incredible work they do in supporting those who need it."
Tuesday (25th November) marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
