A biker has been taken to hospital with life changing injuries after being hit by a car on Cardiff Road in Barry.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision near the junction with Palmerston Road at around 9.40pm on Sunday night.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said: "The rider of the bike suffered life changing injuries and remains in hospital."
"No arrests have been made and investigations continue."
The road was closed for several hours both ways between the junctions with Arthur Street and the Texaco garage, but it has since reopened.
