Pupils at Cadoxton Primary School are looking to hear from the Voices of the school past and present, as part of a new project.
Year two pupils are looking into the history of the school as part of the scheme of work for the current term.
To understand more about the school and answer key questions, pupils are reaching out to the local community for their stories and memories of the school.
Pupils have devised some key questions they'd like to know more about, including school uniform, school dinners, learning Welsh, previous technology and whether the cane was part of their time at the school.
Speaking to Bro Radio's Ceilia Hamblin on Wednesday lunchtime, Year 2 Teacher Mrs Brown said, "We went for a walk around the school yesterday and took photos of different interesting things we found around the school, and the bell tower was a big point of fascination for pupils", said Mrs Brown. We'd love to know a bit more information about the bell tower, if anyone knows anything about the tower."
A form has been devised, which features a series of questions, and once data and responses have been gathered, pupils are looking to invite respondents to visit the school for a series of interviews to learn more about the history of the school.
Past and present pupils, parents and teachers can get involved in the survey via this form.
