Care workers from across Cardiff and the Vale have been honoured at an annual awards ceremony.
The Excellence in Care awards, held at the Cardiff City Stadium, recognised workers from the region who have made exceptional contributions to the health and social care sector.
Staff from both local authorities and partner organisations were awarded for completing qualifications over the past year.
The event, hosted by ITV Wales consumer reporter Kate Lewis, was attended by senior Welsh Government officials and representatives from the two councils.
They were joined by Cllr Naomi Marshallsea, the newly elected Mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan and Cllr Helen Lloyd Jones, the outgoing Lord Mayor of Cardiff.

Cllr Eddie Williams, cabinet member for social care and health at Vale of Glamorgan Council, said: "It is wonderful to see the hard work and dedication of our care workers recognised at the Excellence in Care Awards."
"This dedicated group have demonstrated exemplary standards of care and compassion for others as well as the significant difference they make in the lives of the people they support."
"Their hard work is not only greatly appreciated, but is also truly inspirational to us all."
All of the winners were given a unique handcrafted pottery dish specially created by adults supported by Vision 21 - a service enabling people with learning disabilities to develop new skills and realise their potential through meaningful projects.
They also received a goody bag and a certificate of achievement.
