Detectives are investigating a distraction burglary at the home of a Boverton pensioner.
A wallet containing cash was stolen on Saturday afternoon.
A man, dressed all in black, was said to be in the area between 2.30pm and 3.30pm, acting as a door-to-door salesman selling cleaning products.
South Wales Police say they're keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him.
A spokesperson for the force added: "Please keep cold callers and strangers out of your home, and look out for elderly or vulnerable neighbours. Always remember - if in doubt, keep them out."
Anyone with information should contact South Wales Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference no. 2400324384.
