Two special Christmas parties have been held for families across the Vale.
Over 500 people, including children, parents and carers, were invited to the Memo Arts Centre in Barry for a host of free and festive activites organised by the Vale Family Information Service (FIS) team.
Both parties were supported by partner groups such as Sports and Play, Families First, the Vale Youth Service, Communities for Work Plus and Vale Unpaid Carers, who engaged with families about the services they offer.
Meanwhile, children had the chance to meet Santa as well as get their face painted and take part in festive arts and craft activities.
Kelly Fenton, FIS outreach and information officer, said: "Feedback from parents and providers has been incredibly positive."
“It was so lovely to see so many families getting into the Christmas spirit and have the opportunity to find out more about the services which are available to them, whilst also having a great festive time with their children.”
The Vale FIS aims to connect families in the Vale to local services and support, including childcare, help with childcare costs, family support services, and activities for children and young people.
