Detectives are urgently looking for the owners of a dog after a lamb was killed at Ogmore-by-Sea.
South Wales Police say the lamb was fatally injured at around 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
They're appealing for the owners of the dog to come forward "as a matter of urgency".
The force is also reminding dog owners to keep their dogs on leads while out walking near livestock on farmland and in rural areas.
A spokesperson said: "Sheep worrying is a crime and it is important that it is treated as such. You can never predict the actions of your dog, no matter how well behaved or trained it is."
Anyone with information should contact South Wales Police on 101 or via the live web chat, quoting reference no. 2500188739.
