Cardiff Airport is set for a boost in passenger numbers as the Easter holidays get underway.
More than 40,000 people are expected at the Rhoose airport - up by 18% on the same Easter period last year.
Last month, chief executive Spencer Birns resigned after more than four and a half years in the role, with Andy Jones taking over as interim CEO.
But airport chiefs say it's been a "fantastic start to 2025" - having secured a new winter ski route to Salzburg along with extra weekly flights to Malaga.
Low cost airline Ryanair is also planning to run its biggest ever programme from Cardiff during the summer season.
Lee Smith, head of business development, said: "This Easter holidays, we’ll see 18% more customers travelling through Wales’ national airport, compared to the same period last year."
"The continued recovery at Cardiff is testament to the hard work of our dedicated colleagues across the business."
"Our customers are enjoying the benefits of flying local and have been jetting off to Cyprus, Spain and Tunisia, just some of the many popular destinations on offer this year. Our valued airline partners continue to grow, and we look forward to a great summer season."
