The number of weekly flights between Cardiff Airport and Málaga is set to increase during the summer season.
Vueling Airlines has announced it will run four departure flights to the Costa del Sol from June 24th, running on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturday.
From 16th September until 25th October, the airline will add a fifth weekly flight on Sundays.
The low-cost airline, based in Barcelona, also runs direct flights to Alicante from the Rhoose airport.
It comes after airport chiefs announced regular ski flights to Salzburg and the Eastern Alps would launch next winter, with Tui running weekly services from Christmas until March 2026.
Lee Smith, head of business development at Cardiff Airport, said: "Our customers have been asking for more choice of flights on key routes like Málaga."
"I am really pleased that Vueling has responded to the demand and we look forward to welcoming more passengers on these services at Cardiff Airport."
"Vueling is a key airline partner, operating from Wales for over 12 years, connecting Wales to key cities in Spain, allowing tourism and business connectivity. We look forward to working with the Vueling team to continue increasing its services from Wales.”
