Two of the Vale's key arts venues will share more than £100,000 of funding from the Arts Council of Wales.
Vale Council says it will go towards staffing costs at both Penarth Pier Pavilion and the Art Central Gallery in Barry.
The grant from the Jobs Protection and Resilience Fund is one of the most substantial financial boosts for the council's libraries and cultural service department in recent years.
Cllr Rhiannon Birch, cabinet member for the arts, said: "We are truly delighted and thankful to have been awarded this vital funding to support Penarth Pier Pavilion and Art Central Gallery, both of which are true assets to the Vale of Glamorgan."
"This grant not only alleviates immediate financial pressures but also allows us to develop a range of cultural offerings."
"As we move forward, we are excited to enhance cultural accessibility, sustainability, and opportunities for our communities, with Art Central and Penarth Pier Pavilion at the heart of this work."

The council says the funding will help both venues to remain financially stable and ensure cultural activities and events can continue.
Plans are already in place for a "diverse" cinema offering at the Pier Pavilion in 2025, including new and classic releases and encore screenings of National Theatre Live performances.
Art Central Gallery plans to continue with exhibitions, workshops and other creative activities.
The council is also planning to launch a new volunteering scheme for the two venues.
