Oscar Hartland, famously known as Neil the Baby, is set to lead a Gavin & Stacey Victory Over Cancer Walk for Velindre Cancer Centre.
He'll join charity ambassador and weatherman Derek Brockway on 12th October 2025, on the 6k stroll around Barry Island.
Organisers say the walk will be a chance to enjoy a 6 km walk around the iconic resort, whilst visiting some of the famous filming spots from the show.
Fancy dress is being encouraged, with the charity hoping some walkers will turn up as their favourite characters from the hit BBC TV show.
Velindre Cancer Service is a leading provider of non-surgical, tertiary oncology services, dedicated to delivering expert cancer care to patients across south-east Wales, serving a population of 1.7 million.
Its flagship facility, Velindre Cancer Centre, located in Whitchurch in Cardiff, is one of the largest and most respected cancer centres in the UK. It specialises in chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and palliative care, offering cutting-edge treatments and compassionate support to patients.
“During my recovery, walking has been my saviour! Getting out in the fresh air, having time to think and clear my mind, as well as getting fit, has made me feel amazing!” said Sarah, a Velindre patient.
