A youth project in the Vale has held a special meal to increase its involvement with the local community.
A group from the Hive Guys - which is run by the Vale of Glamorgan Youth Service - has already been working on number of accredited opportunities such as woodworking, growing herbs and cooking.
Their main focus at the moment has been increasing community engagement with residents who have made use of Warm Spaces across the county.
Through budgeting, planning and cooking for the evening, the group were able to develop valuable life skills and use the Five Ways to Wellbeing - Be Active, Connect, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give.
The project aimed to improve understanding and build inter-generational friendship as well as create positive conversations that also support preventing dementia in the community.

The Youth Service has also recently been working with the Bro Radio Academy to give young people the chance to learn how to be a radio presenter.
Sixteen people recently completely an Agored Cymru Unit in Preparing to Present Radio Broadcasting, which saw them develop their digital skills and confidence in public speaking, while being supported by industry specialists.

Cllr Rhiannon Birch, Cabinet Member for Education, Arts and the Welsh Language, said: "It is fantastic to see the Vale Youth Service go from strength to strength as it continues to support young people in the Vale."
