Community groups and charities in the Vale are being invited to apply for funding from a major South Wales housebuilder.
Barratt David Wilson Homes says it has donated more than £2.5 million to good causes throughout the region since 2022.
Among those supported in the past year were Blood Bikes Wales, which supports transport of blood samples and plasma for NHS, stillbirth and neonatal charty Cardiff and Newport Sands, and Two Rhythms, an arts therapy charity in Cardiff.

The community fund is looking for new organisations to support in 2025 as it looks to give back to areas where Barratt is building new developments.
Barratt wants to hear particularly from groups that support children, young people and those facing challenges.
Richard Lawson, sales director at Barratt David Wilson Homes South Wales, said: "The community fund is a chance for us to help improve the quality of life for those living in the areas local to our developments."

“Each month we have the opportunity to fundraise and donate to registered organisations that do incredible work — and we want to make sure that they know we are here to support them."
“I urge any registered charity or community groups within the Vale of Glamorgan...to get in touch — we’d love to hear more about your story and how we can support the legacy you are creating.”
To apply for the Community Fund, email bdwswcommfund@barratthomes.co.uk or visit the Barratt website for more information.
