A man has been arrested following a traffic collision in the Grangetown area of Cardiff.
Police say a female pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident on Penarth Road on Friday afternoon.
The road is currently closed in both directions between the Clare Road intersection and Penarth Road and is expected to remain shut for some time.
South Wales Police are urging drivers to avoid the area - where delays are expected - and find an alternative route where possible.
There are no further details.
