A man has been charged in a crackdown on drug dealing in Cardiff Bay.
Police detained seven men when they were caught apparently carrying out drug exchanges in the Louisa Place area of Butetown.
The group were taken to Cardiff Bay Police Station and searched - with one of the men found to be possessing 40 wraps of crack cocaine and some heroin.
18 year-old Keone Becker, from Butetown, was later charged with possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply, as well as possessing criminal propery.
South Wales Police say they're working hard to tackle visible drug dealing, drug taking and anti-social behaviour in the area, amid concerns from the local community.
Several dispersal orders, giving officers extra powers, have also been used in and around Butetown over the past several months.
Chief Inspector Stuart McDean said: "South Wales Police has a zero-tolerance approach to drug dealing and this is just one example of the work we are doing in Butetown and Cardiff Bay."
"We can, and regularly do, act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming."
