A group of Marie Curie supporters are preparing to take part in a 'virtual' London Marathon.
The friends from Penarth and Barry decided to tackle a full 26-mile run after taking part in last year's Cardiff Half Marathon.
But they won't be stepping foot in London itself - instead, the group will set off from Marco's Cafe at Barry Island at 7am on Sunday morning, running around Penarth before heading back to Marco's.

Together, they'll be raising funds for the Marie Curie hospice in Penarth - which will also be a stop-off on their route - where many of their family and friends have received end-of-life care.
Marco's have also agreed to provide refreshments to the team after they complete their own Vale marathon.
To donate, visit their Justgiving page or look out for the team on the day carrying a big yellow bucket.
