The Mayor of Barry, Cllr Dennis Clarke, is hosting a coffee morning as part of Fairtrade Fortnight.
A series of events has been held to mark ten years since Barry was granted Fairtrade status - including a quiz night and a free banana handout at Jenner Park.
Barry Town Council says it's made a commitment to supporting producers and communities in low and middle income countries since 2015.
A spokesperson added: "As a Fairtrade Town, there will be samples of Fairtrade food and drinks, and other products that may not be associated with Fairtrade and officers will be happy to advise anyone about the many ways in which they can offer support on buying and selecting Fairtrade whenever possible."
The coffee morning takes place at the Town Hall between 10am and 12.30pm on Saturday 4th October. Entry is free but donations are welcome for the Mayor's chosen charities, Valeways and Mind in the Vale.
