One of a series of summer concerts at Cardiff Bay has been cancelled due to forecast strong winds.
New Order, supported by The Charlatans, were due to play at Alexandra Head on Thursday night.
But Bay Series organisers cancelled the gig on Thursday evening on health and safety grounds citing 'extreme weather, including severe winds.'
Gig goers are automatically being given refunds - and organisers say they're keeping a close watch on the weather, but expect this weekend's shows with Becky Hill and Tiesto to go ahead.
In a statement, a spokesperson for The Bay Series said: "Unfortunately, due to extreme weather including severe winds, tonight's New Order show has been cancelled on health and safety grounds. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and your refund will be automatically processed."
"We will continue to monitor the weather but are assured that Becky Hill and Tiesto events will remain unaffected."
New Order went ahead with rehearsals for the show on Wednesday night - which was due to be their first in the Welsh capital since 1983.
In a brief statement on social media, a spokesperson for the band said: "We are sorry to say that our show tonight in Cardiff is cancelled due to high winds on site...we are disappointed to not be performing for you all tonight, but safety of our fans & crew always comes first."

Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Unfortunately, our gig with New Order tonight is cancelled due to high winds on the site...we are as gutted as everyone who has a ticket. We wanted to let you know as soon as we could."
He later added: "We even tried to find a new venue in Cardiff so we could play a show but time and the universe were against us."
