Lifeboat crews were called out to three incidents in just three hours at Ogmore on Monday.
Two people were rescued after they were swept out to sea on an inflatable off Hardy's Bay at just after 5.55pm. The pair were located by the RNLI's Atlantic 85 lifeboat from Porthcawl and taken back to the beach.
Immediately afterwards, the crew was sent out to find two teenagers who were said to be in difficulty in the water.
When they arrived at the scene, one youth had already been helped ashore by a paddleboarder while the other was taken back to shore, where they were reunited with their mother.
In an earlier incident, a paddleboarder struggling in offshore winds also attracted the attention of the coastguard, who called out the Atlantic 85 lifeboat. But on arrival, the crew found the paddleboard had made it to safety ashore.
An RNLI Porthcawl spokesperson said the multiple shouts on Monday means their inshore lifeboats have now been called out over 80 times so far this year.
