One person was airlifted to hospital following a fall from the cliffs near Southerndown.
Emergency services were called to Witches Point at around 5.25pm on Saturday evening where the casaulty had fallen around 15 foot onto a ledge and suffered a suspected broken leg.
Coastguard teams from Llantwit Major and Porthcawl quickly arrived and provided casualty care, assisted by three members of an RNLI crew from the Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat at Porthcawl.
Teams at the scene secured a landing site for the Coastguard helicopter from St Athan who winched the casaulty away from the area before they were taken to hospital.
