Police are investigating a single vehicle collision in Dinas Powys.
Officers were called to St Andrews Road at around 10.40pm on Saturday night - but when they arrived, the occupants of the car had fled the scene.
The road was closed for a time in both directions outside St Andrews Church.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing.
There are no further details.
