The annual Barry Santa Sleigh is preparing to set off on its rounds around town from next week.
The Barry Round Table event has been a local Christmas tradition since 1972, raising money for local charities and spreading festive cheer in the build up to the big day.
This year, Santa and his elves will be making 14 trips - with local businesses and organisations providing sponsorship to help cover the costs of thousands of sweets distributed during December.

- Sunday 8th December - West End & The Knap, sponsored by Casey's Cubs Flexible Childcare
- Monday 9th December - Coldbrook, sponsored by Loaded Dice
- Wednesday 11th December - Highlight Park & Buttrills, sponsored by VOG Fire & Security
- Thursday 12th December - High Street, sponsored by Knights Estate Agents

Santa will also be popping up at other Christmas events around Barry, including the Barry Round Table's grotto as part of the food market at the Goodsheds this weekend (Saturday 30th November and Friday 1st December).
