A brand-new Santa Sleigh will take to the streets of Barry for one of the town's best-loved Christmas traditions.
Over £3,000 has been raised by the Barry Round Table to build a new sleigh ahead of their annual tour, which kicks off on Barry Road on Monday.
A hundred people, who each donated £30 towards a fundraising campaign, will have their names on the rear of the sleigh.
Barry Town Council has also given £1,500 in sponsorship towards covering the costs.
Daniel Campbell, chairman of Barry Round Table, said: "We're hugely grateful to everyone who's put so much time and effort into creating our brand new sleigh."
He added: "With the cost-of-living still impacting so many, we're grateful to the one hundred people who paid to put their name on the back of our sleigh and to Barry Town Council for their generous sponsorship of the sleigh in 2025 and 2026."

The Santa Sleigh has been a fixture of Christmas in Barry since 1972, raising funds for local groups, charities and projects.
But in September, the charity announced it was retiring its current sleigh, which was showing its age after being rebuilt many times by its members.
The new model, described as 'fit for the future', has been designed and built by local joiner Jason Parsons, along with electrics, sound and lighting from OnStage Events and flooring from 2012 Flooring.
It will once again be accompanied by a Rudolph van donated by CJ Contract Travel Service throughout the sleigh's three-week tour.
Supporters groups are also being given new hi-vis jackets, supported by Specsavers Barry.
Barry Town Council leader Bronwen Brooks said: "The Santa Sleigh is an important part of our town's Christmas traditions. Barry Town Council is pleased to be able to support the new sleigh for Santa, and to support Barry Round Table's volunteers in delivering festive cheer."
