Seven men have been arrested after they attempted to smuggle drugs into Cardiff city centre.
South Wales Police say the men, aged between 19 and 46, were detained on Friday night as the result of joint working with secruity staff and a skilled dog.
The men from the Barry, Whitchurch, Caerphilly, Rhondda, Bristol and Wiltshire areas were arrested separately on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
A spokesperson said: "We work closely with licenced premises and event organisers to create a hostile environment for those who think it’s okay to come into the city centre to take or deal drugs."
They added enquiries are continuing.
