Three men have died following a two-vehicle collision on the A48 near Bonvilston.
Police say a blue Ford Puma car collided with a red and black Scania tipper lorry at just before 5pm on Tuesday evening.
A 51 year-old man from Porthcawl, a 34 year-old man from Bridgend and a 48 year-old man from Ferndale died.
The road remained closed both ways for several hours between the Forage farm shop and Five Mile Lane following the collision but it has since reopened.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said: "Officers would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding at this time."
