Tributes are being paid to a grandmother following a fatal road collision in Barry.
Jacqueline Ellis was struck by a black Mercedes C220 car near the Morrisons store on Ffordd Y Millenniwm at around 3.12pm on Monday 29th September 2025.
She was taken to hospital but died two weeks later.
In a statement via police, Jacqueline's family said her "sudden passing...in such devastating circumstances will leave an emptiness that will never be filled."
They added: "Jacqueline had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Jacqueline was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother."
"Our memories of Jacqueline will last a lifetime and the memories we have together as a family will never be forgotten by us or anyone that knew her."
"As a family, we would like to thank everyone who have sent messages of support and we now ask for time to grieve together."
South Wales Police are still appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward as part of their investigation.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are also investigating the manner of driving before the collision occured.
