Fontygary Road in Rhoose was closed for three hours following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning.
Police said minor injuries were reported following the collision at approximately 10.30am, which shut the road in both directions.
There was slow moving traffic in the area between the Blue Anchor Inn and the Fontygary Inn.
A South Wales Police spokesperson told Bro Radio News that the road was reopened at around 1.20pm.
