Two teenage boys have pleaded not guilty to the murder of a father-of-one in Barry.
Kamran Aman died following a disturbance in the Barry area at just before midnight on Monday 30th June.
The 38 year-old suffered a single stab wound to the chest.
Both defendants, aged 16 and 17 from Llantwit Major, cannot be named due to their ages.
A judge at Merthyr Crown Court told the pair - who appeared via videolink - that they will go on trial on Monday 11th November. They were both remanded in custody.
Mr Aman was described by his family as "a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend."
In a tribute, they said: "Known for his, generous spirit, and kind heart, Kamran brought warmth and strength to everyone he met. His absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew him."
