A teenager is being questioned following a fight on Barry Island.
Two groups of boys were involved in a disturbance near the RNLI visitor centre on Paget Road at around 6.15pm on Friday 2nd May.
A 15 year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of affray and assault - and a police investigation is continuing.
Neighbourhood Inspector Gareth Childs of South Wales Police said: "Anti-social behaviour and disorder will not be tolerated. Officers are regularly patrolling Barry Island, and this will continue over the summer."
"I am appealing to parents, not only in Barry, but those in the surrounding communities to remind their young people about behaving responsibly."
Last month, local authorities launched their annual summer crackdown on anti-social behaviour on the Vale's coastline.
Operation Elstree sees police working along alongside coastguards, lifeboat crews and other emergency services, along with Vale of Glamorgan Council, to keep the area "safe and family friendly".
