Barry Town United lost 4-0 defeat at reigning Cymru Premier champions The New Saints.
Manager Steve Jenkins was boosted by the return of captain Kayne McLaggon to the starting XI while Luc Rees was handed his first start of the season between the posts and Callum Sainty made his 200th appearance in yellow-and-blue.
Park Hall has been known as a happy hunting ground for Barry in recent years - and they threatened early on when Ollie Hulbert fired wide from the edge of the area while keeper Rees did well to block a long-range strike from Adam Wilson.
But the UEFA Conference League qualifiers went ahead when Leo Smith’s effort was turned in on the rebound by Jordan Williams after 26 minutes.
Keenan Patten found the net for Barry after the break only for his goal to be ruled offside, before two minutes later, Wilson snuck the ball past Rees at the back post.
The league leaders further asserted their dominance with two late goals in the space of a minute from Ben Clark and Jordan Williams.
Barry remain seventh in the table but are now three points off the top six as attention turns to their Nathaniel MG Cup clash at Trethomas Bluebirds on Tuesday night, followed by Caernarfon Town’s visit to Jenner Park in the league next Saturday.
