Barry Town United's bid for a top six finish in the Cymru Premier this season is going down to the wire.
Steve Jenkins' men have had an extra few days to prepare for their Tuesday night clash with Haverfordwest County at Jenner Park (7.45pm ko).
They're among five teams still in with a shout of qualifying for the Championship Conference as the league prepares to the split for the business end of the season.
Barry are currently 7th in the table - though only on goal difference behind Bala Town - and to move back into the top six, they'll need to improve on the Lakesiders' result against Connah's Quay.
If that doesn't happen, Barry will need to beat Haverfordwest - who have already qualified - and hope Flint Town United beat Caernarfon while league leaders The New Saints beat Cardiff Met.
Barry's game was among several delayed in the interests of 'sporting integrity', according to the FAW, following the prolonged disruption to a Gwynedd derby which finally saw Caernarfon beat Bala 2-0 at the fourth attempt.
Going into tonight's fixtures, Barry have not played since New Year's Eve when they played out a goalless draw at Briton Ferry Llansawel, which ended a run of three successive league defeats.
Qualifying for the top six would mark the first time Barry have finished in the top end of the table since the 2020-21 campaign, when they secured fifth spot.
