Barry Town United held Briton Ferry Llansawel to a goalless draw in the Adran Premier.
Stevie McCarthy Campbell's side remain in the top half of the table following back-to-back draws, after weathering much pressure from the visitors to Jenner Park on Sunday lunchtime.
An early kick-off - prompted by that evening's Nathaniel MG Cup semi final - saw Barry start brightly with Amy Long's effort blocked out by keeper Courtney Young, before the follow-up was volleyed over the net by Erin Murray.
Ferry went onto grind out most of the chances, putting keeper Molly Arnesen on the spot as she denied Laura-May Walkley on the stroke of half time.
The pressure mounted after the break as an early setpiece from Alison Witts was narrowly fired over the crossbar while Barry did well to eventually clear a dangerous cross from Megan Kearle from a goalmouth scramble.
Arnesen retained her clean sheet as Lowri Ridings' headed over in stoppage time, but the hosts produced few real chances of their own by the end of a lengthy midfield battle.
Barry are just one point above Briton Ferry in the table, though their opponents still have two games in hand as the race for a top four finish gathers pace.
Next up, Hollywood-backed Wrexham visit Jenner Park for the quarter finals of the Adran Trophy on Sunday.
