Barry Town United have signed midfielder Ryan Kavanagh - their seventh new arrival in the summer transfer market.
Kavanagh moves to Jenner Park from his boyhood club, Cardiff City, where he has been playing football since the age of seven.
The 21 year-old recently spent the latter part of last season on loan with National League South club Truro City, making seven appearances.
Kavanagh was a regular for the Bluebirds' U18s and U21s sides.
Last year, he fought a long term ACL injury before turning to action by playing the entirety of a 3-0 South Wales derby win over Swansea City U21s.
A Barry Town spokesperson said: "A dynamic midfielder, Ryan will compliment hugely the skill set of midfielders already at the club and we’re excited to see him in a Barry Town shirt."
Steve Jenkins' side were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Bala Town in their opening game of the new Cymru Premier season on Saturday.
Ollie Hulbert took the lead for the hosts after 15 minutes with a low drive from the edge of the box delivered by captain Kayne McLaggon.
But the Lakesiders drew level from the penalty spot via George Newell midway through the second half.
Barry make the short trip to Cyncoed for their first away game of the season on Friday night, when they face local rivals Cardiff Met (7.45pm ko)
Meanwhile, Barry have been drawn to face early Cymru South leaders Trethomas Bluebirds in the third round of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
Ties will be played on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th September.
