Llantwit Major extended their unbeaten run in the Cymru South to nine games after beating Afan Lido 2-0.
Ben Stait's side are up to fourth in the table following back-to-back victories - with four points separating them from leaders Trethomas Bluebirds as the midway point of the league season nears.
An even-handed first half saw both sides enjoy their spells in the ascendancy without creating too many chances.
Lido, who are bottom of the league with just one win so far, pushed hard to break the deadlock - until in the 66th minute, when Tom Lilico's cross was met by Matty Kimmins, who struck past keeper Ben Haines for his sixth league goal of the season.
Another prolific scorer doubled the advantage just six minutes later - Tom Tweedy stepped up to cooly convert a penalty for his fifth of the league campaign.
Jack Lansdown went onto retain his clean sheet as the hosts rode out the closing stages to clinch another three points.
Llantwit made the short tip to face another struggling side, Taffs Well, on Friday night.
