Barry Town United returned to winning ways in the Cymru Premier after beating Briton Ferry Llansawel 3-1 on Saturday.
Manager Steve Jenkins was seeking a response following their 4-1 derby defeat at Penybont last weekend.
Left back Josh Beecher was handed his first start since joining on loan from Cardiff City, replacing Josh Yorwerth following his red card in the Five Mile Lane derby.
Beecher went onto make an swift impact when ten minutes in, he beat a Ferry defender to the ball at the left flank before it slid into the path of Keenan Patten, who struck from the edge of the box for his third league goal of the season.
But Briton Ferry responded just two minutes later as Luc Rees' clearance fell straight to Ellis Page, who made the most of the keeper's lapse and drilled home the equaliser.
Top scorer Ollie Hulbert pressed hard to restore the lead, bringing out two fine saves from visiting keeper Rhys Wilson.
But on 37 minutes, a corner nodded on from the goalmouth scramble was teed up at range for Eliot Richards, whose volley landed in the net to retake the lead and claim his first goal of the campaign.
Barry sealed the points ten minutes into the second half, when Ben Margetson fed the ball through to Keenan Patten, who beat a defender before delivering a cross to Hulbert, who poked home at close range to make it seven league goals so far this season..
A fourth league win of the campaign leaves Barry in eighth and still just two points off the top half of the table as the first phase of the Cymru Premier passes its halfway point.
Next up is a Tuesday night trip to mid-table Newtown before Barry get their Welsh Cup campaign on Saturday, when they take on Caerau Ely at Jenner Park (2pm ko).
