A Barry man has been charged following another day-of-action targeting wanted suspects.
Police say 25 people were arrested for a variety of offences in Cardiff and fhe Vale of Glamorgan on Wednesday.
A 51-year-old man from Barry, Dominic Ferrugia was later charged with attempted burglary, while two women from Adamstown and Butetown were charged with theft.
Chief Inspector Matthew Hicks from the Cardiff and Vale command unit said: “We are doing to pursuing those doing harm to our community and bringing them to justice.”
”We are already seeing the impact of yesterday's action. If you have concerns in your area, please report them and we will take action.”
Throughout the day, four people were arrested for domestic abuse related offences, while there was one arrest for supplying drugs and another for blackmail.
Four people were taken into custody on warrant and five were wanted on recall to prison.
In court on Thursday, a woman pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary dwelling and theft following the arrests.
Shanice Roderick (21) from Ely is due to be sentenced on Thursday 26th February.
