Police in Cardiff Bay tackling drug crime say more than 60 people have been arrested in recent months.
Neighbourhood officers in the Butetown and Grangetown areas claim there has been a "noticeable increase" in information coming forward from concerned residents both in person and online.
According to South Wales Police, the number of arrests is the result of partnership work with local communities in both districts.
A spokesperson said: "We know drug dealing continues to be a concern in these areas."
"Please be reassured South Wales Police has a zero-tolerance approach to drug dealing this is just one example of the work we are doing."
"We can, and regularly do, act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming."
Anyone with information about illegal drug supply should contact South Wales Police on 101 or use the live web chat.
