One person was taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Bonvilston.
Emergency services were called to the A48 near the Aubrey Arms pub at around 6pm on Wednesday evening.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said there were no serious injuries but one person had been taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed both ways for a time between the junctions with Redway Road in Bonvilston and Dyffryn Lane in St Nicholas.
