In a statement, a club spokesperson said, "It’s been a pleasure to have Robbie and his family at our club and we wish him all the best in his new role. You will always be welcome at Jenner Park"
Fans quickly shared praise for Robbie following the news, with one stating "Big loss in that midfield" Top player and such a gent" whilst another said "A class footballer. Always enjoyed watching him play"
