Bro Radio Juniors has been honoured with two nominations in the 2025 Community Radio Awards.
Launched in 2024, Bro Radio Juniors is a monthly show dedicated to the little people of the Vale of Glamorgan.
Hosted by Naomi Cutler and produced by Jamie Pritchard, the show aims to create an adult-free zone, featuring young voices of local children, sharing what they've been up to, giving shout-outs to their friends and family, and introducing some of their favourite songs.
Since its launch last year, the show has become a regular listen for young children and their families, providing a platform for young talent and fostering a sense of connection among listeners.
Bro Radio Juniors is nominated for Specialist Content Show of the Year, sponsored by Fix Radio and Entertainment Show of the Year in the 2025 Community Radio Awards.
The awards, which celebrate their tenth year in 2026, showcase the passion and commitment of those who work tirelessly to bring quality programming to their local areas, celebrating community radio and the input of volunteers into their stations, shows and communities.

On receiving the nomination, Bro Radio Juniors presenter Naomi Cutler said, “It’s an honour for our show to be recognised. It’s wonderful that so many young voices in the Vale have contributed to the success - these nominations aren’t just for Bro Radio, but for every one of them, too! There’s not enough space on the radio for young people, and I’m on a mission to change that, one little voice at a time. Fingers crossed for a double win!”
Community Radio Awards Chair Rebecca Steers said they “This year is not just about recognising the outstanding work across our sector over the past year, it’s also a time to reflect on two decades of community radio in the UK. The quality and diversity of entries this year have been truly inspiring, and we’re thrilled to celebrate the dedication and creativity of our finalists.”
The awards ceremony will take place in Bradford on Saturday, 25th October 2025.
Bro Radio Juniors broadcasts each second Thursday of the month, from 7pm, with the option to listen again for up to 90 days via www.broradio.fm/juniors and the Bro Radio App.
