An investigation's underway into a three-vehicle collision between Barry and Dinas Powys.
Cardiff Road was closed both ways following the accident at just before 4pm on Sunday afternoon.
South Wales Police say no one was injured and the road was reopened at around 5.30pm following recovery work.
The collision led to the Nathaniel MG Cup semi final at Jenner Park being delayed for around 50 minutes, due to the late arrival of The New Saints, who went onto beat Barry Town United 2-1.
A police spokesperson said: "The circumstances of the collision remain under investigation."
