Cowbridge High Street traders are preparing to take part a family Halloween hunt.
Organisers are aiming to use the event to encourage more people to visit independent shops in the town centre.
19 local businesses will be joining in the two treasure hunts on Saturday 26th October - one will be aimed at younger children to find hidden clues, while older children will set out to find quiz answers.
Sally Stephenson, who owns The Pencil Case, a children's stationery and uniform shop on Eastgate, said: "Following the success of our previous Easter and Halloween Hunts, this one will be even better than ever!
"This Halloween, we will be running two trails - one for younger children and their grown ups to find clues hidden in shops across Cowbridge, and a second trail for older children who want to go off exploring on their own."
Tickets for the Halloween Hunt will be limited at just £1.50 and on a first time, first serve basis. On the day, families taking part can collect a map from The Pencil Case, and once they return it completed, they'll win a prize.
Sally added: "Once you've booked your tickets, come along on Saturday 26th in your spookiest Halloween costumes and have some fun exploring our lovely town!"
