A drug dealer from Barry who offered crack cocaine via sales messaging has been jailed.
Cardiff Crown Court heard Jack Thomas sent out texts to hundreds of people at a time as part of his drug line, which he called 'Fatz'.
The name of his operation was tattooed on the fingers of his left hand.
Police said the 27 year-old used sales patter in his messaging to imply the 'purity' and 'availability' of the drugs he was selling.
He was caught during a month-long police crackdown on county lines supply.

The court heard a man believed to have been acting as a runner for Thomas was arrested in June and had his phone seized.
Thomas launched his drug line soon afterwards on a new phone, but police were able to identify him after studying CCTV footage from where he brought the device.

On July 11th, detectives arrested Thomas in a raid at his home on Hilda Street, where they seized phones which were linked directly to the phone seized from his suspect runner.
In court, Thomas went onto plead guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and was sentenced to two-and-a-half years.
